Non-cooperative mode implies that facial recognition takes place “in the stream” and does not affect the flow of people. Most often people do not know that in this particular place there is a biometric camera as recognition cameras do not differ visually from ordinary surveillance cameras.

For non-cooperative mode specialized cameras VOCORD NetCam4 K-series are used. Cameras are installed at entrances or places of organized flow of people: passages, queues, turnstiles. Cameras automatically capture the faces of all people who come in view, photograph them and send images via network to the server of the system VOCORD FaceControl, when they are saved in the archive and checked in the databases of criminal investigation. In case of a match the system immediately alerts the operator.

By saving all captured faces in the archive VOCORD NetCam4 allows to form a database of high-quality photos, which can further be used for criminal search, and increase reliability of recognition by improving image quality in the sample databases.

The location of cameras is determined by the project. Maximum distance from the camera to the target – 100 m. Recommended distance – not more than 30 m.

Access control and management, working time logging
Cooperative mode is used for access control and management, working time logging and other tasks where recognition involves looking at the camera. For cooperative recognition tasks any IP-cameras or web-cameras can be used. Recommended definition for the camera – from 1 MP (distance between the pupils in the image – not less than 40-50 pixels). For cooperative recognition on the basis of third-party IP-cameras it is recommended to have constant artificial light not less than 200 lux. Like in cooperative mode, recognition is instantaneous but requires looking at the camera for at least a second. The location of cameras is determined by the project.
